Terms of service
PUMP & PRAISE — TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through PUMP & PRAISE, including merchandise, event tickets, classes, memberships, equipment hire and other products or services offered by PUMP & PRAISE.
By purchasing from or booking with PUMP & PRAISE, you agree to the applicable terms below.
1. ABOUT PUMP & PRAISE
PUMP & PRAISE is a faith-based fitness and wellbeing movement centred around faith, fitness and community.
We offer a range of classes and experiences across different fitness disciplines, including bodyweight workouts, Pilates, strength and weight training, mobility, stretching, dance, cardio and other forms of movement.
We host in-person classes, online classes, events, workshops and community experiences, and the format and content of each session may vary.
Some sessions may include worship music, prayer, scripture and spiritual encouragement.
Music may be played at a high or event-level volume, and some venues may use stage lighting or low lighting. Please consider this when deciding whether a particular session or event is suitable for you.
2. HEALTH & SAFETY
Participation in physical activity carries inherent risks, including muscle strain, sprains, joint or back injury, dizziness, fainting, overheating, aggravation of an existing condition and, rarely, serious injury.
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
You should seek appropriate medical advice before participating to check your ability to safely exercise.
You must inform the instructor or a member of the PUMP & PRAISE team of anything that may affect your ability to participate safely.
If you are pregnant, recently postnatal, recovering from an injury or have a health condition that may affect your participation, you should seek appropriate medical advice before taking part and inform the instructor or PUMP & PRAISE team where appropriate.
During a session, you should work at a level appropriate to your own ability, take rest or modifications when needed and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual breathlessness or feel unwell.
If you feel unwell during a class or event, you must stop and tell the instructor or another member of the PUMP & PRAISE team immediately.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
3. AGE REQUIREMENTS & CHILDREN
The minimum age for PUMP & PRAISE sessions is generally 5 years old, however age requirements may vary depending on the specific class, event, venue or activity.
You must check the applicable age requirement with PUMP & PRAISE before booking where a child or young person is attending.
Anyone under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult where required.
Parents or guardians are fully responsible for supervising children in their care at all times.
PUMP & PRAISE, its instructors, staff and venues are not responsible for looking after, supervising or providing childcare for children attending our sessions or events.
We reserve the right to refuse entry where an attendee does not meet the age requirements for a particular activity.
Your Authority
You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child named above and have full authority to provide consent for them to participate in PUMP & PRAISE sessions and experiences.
Our Sessions & Experiences
PUMP & PRAISE is a faith-based fitness and wellbeing movement offering a range of classes, events and experiences across different fitness disciplines.
Sessions may include different forms of movement, exercise and fitness activities, and the format and content may vary from session to session. Depending on the particular session or event, activities may involve equipment, weights, machines, mats or other fitness equipment.
Some sessions may include worship music, prayer, scripture and spiritual encouragement. Music may be played at event-level volume, and some venues may use stage lighting or low lighting.
Not all PUMP & PRAISE sessions, exercises, equipment or facilities are designed or adapted specifically for children. You are responsible for checking with PUMP & PRAISE before booking to confirm that the particular session or experience is suitable for your child based on their age and ability.
Supervision
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over.
The supervising adult must remain on site for the entire duration of the session or event and must be readily available to assist the child if required.
Children under 16 must not be dropped off or left at a PUMP & PRAISE session or event without an appropriate adult aged 18 or over present.
We are not responsible for supervising children outside the scheduled session or event, including before the session begins or after it ends.
Please tell us in writing in advance if someone other than the parent or legal guardian will be accompanying or collecting the child, or if there is any court order, safeguarding arrangement or other information we need to be aware of.
Child’s Health
You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your child is in suitable health to participate in the relevant session or experience and that you know of no condition, injury, disability, medication or other circumstance that would make participation unsafe for them.
You should seek appropriate medical advice before your child participates if you have any concerns about their ability to safely exercise.
You must inform PUMP & PRAISE and the relevant instructor of any health condition, injury, disability, medication, allergy or additional need that may affect your child’s ability to participate safely.
Where your child requires medication during the session, such as an inhaler or auto-injector, they must bring it with them and you must tell the instructor or PUMP & PRAISE team where it is kept.
Emergency Treatment
You consent to a qualified first aider providing appropriate first aid to your child where necessary.
You also consent to PUMP & PRAISE contacting the emergency services and your child receiving emergency medical treatment or being taken to hospital if this is considered necessary and we are unable to reach you.
We will always make reasonable attempts to contact you first where circumstances allow.
Risks
You understand that physical activity and exercise carry inherent risks, including trips, falls, strains, sprains, muscle soreness and other injuries.
You accept these risks on behalf of your child.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Behaviour
Your child must follow reasonable instructions given by the instructor and PUMP & PRAISE team and comply with applicable venue rules.
Your child must tell the instructor or another member of the PUMP & PRAISE team immediately if they feel unwell, are in pain or are injured.
We may ask a child to stop participating, sit out or leave the activity if we believe their health, safety or behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others. Where appropriate, we may ask the supervising adult to collect or remove the child from the activity.
Safeguarding
PUMP & PRAISE takes the safety and wellbeing of children seriously.
Staff and volunteers working directly with children will hold appropriate DBS checks where required for their role.
If you have a safeguarding concern relating to a PUMP & PRAISE session, staff member, volunteer or participant, please contact:
team@pumpandpraise.com
Photography & Filming
By giving consent for your child to participate, you acknowledge that photography and filming may take place during PUMP & PRAISE sessions and events.
You consent to images and video of your child being used by PUMP & PRAISE to promote and document our work, including on our website, social media, marketing materials and other promotional channels.
Clothing & Personal Belongings
Please ensure your child attends in suitable clothing and appropriate footwear for the particular session or activity.
We recommend that your child brings a named water bottle and does not bring valuables or unnecessary personal belongings.
PUMP & PRAISE cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your Data
We use your child’s details, relevant health information and your contact details to administer sessions, support safe participation, manage safeguarding requirements and meet our legal and operational obligations.
Where we collect or use health information, this will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.
Please see our Privacy Policy for full details or contact: team@pumpandpraise.com

We reserve the right to refuse entry where an attendee does not meet the published eligibility requirements.
5. ONLINE CLASSES
When participating in an online PUMP & PRAISE class, you are responsible for ensuring that your exercise space is safe, clear and suitable for movement.

Online content is for personal use only and must not be recorded, reproduced, shared, distributed, resold or commercially exploited without written permission.
6. BOOKINGS, TICKETS & MEMBERSHIPS
All bookings are subject to availability and capacity.
Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) bookings are individual bookings made for a specific class or session and do not create an ongoing membership or subscription.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:
- All bookings, tickets and memberships are non-refundable.
- Bookings and tickets are non-transferable to another event, class or person.
- PAYG bookings apply only to the specific class or session booked.
- A missed class or event cannot automatically be moved or transferred to another date.
- Membership benefits and usage limits are determined by the membership selected at the time of purchase.
Membership Access
Your membership gives you access to the classes, events, content and other membership benefits included in the membership plan you choose at checkout. These may include, but are not limited to, classes, events, online sessions, on-demand content, community experiences, member-only offers, resources and other benefits that we may introduce from time to time.
The specific inclusions, limits and benefits of your membership are those set out at checkout and form part of your agreement with us.
Membership is personal to you. You may not share, transfer or resell your membership, login details, class credits or other membership benefits. We reserve the right to cancel a membership that has been shared, transferred or resold without refund.
Payment
Your membership will automatically renew and bill on the payment cycle shown at checkout, using the payment method you provide.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Your first payment is taken when you purchase your membership and recurring payments will continue automatically until your membership is cancelled.
You are responsible for keeping your payment details accurate and up to date. If a payment fails, we may retry the payment and may pause your membership access until payment is successfully received. Repeated failed payments may result in your membership being cancelled.
Cancelling Your Membership
Unless your membership plan states otherwise, memberships are rolling and may be cancelled at any time.
Please give us at least 14 days’ notice before your next billing date by contacting us in writing at TEAM@PUMPANDPRAISE.COM or through your member account.
Cancellation will stop future payments but does not automatically refund payments that have already been taken. You will normally retain access to the membership benefits you have paid for until the end of your current paid membership period.
Where a membership plan has a minimum term, cancellation will take effect at the end of the applicable minimum term.
If you purchased your membership online, you may have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you asked us to begin providing the membership service during this period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service already provided, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Membership Freezes
You may request a temporary freeze of your membership due to circumstances such as injury, illness, pregnancy or extended travel.
Freeze requests are considered at our discretion and must be made in writing at least 14 days before your next billing date.
Any applicable freeze period, conditions or limits will be confirmed by us.
Class Credits
Where your membership includes class credits, those credits may only be used in accordance with the membership plan selected at checkout.
Unused class credits do not roll over into a future membership period unless your plan specifically states otherwise.
Class credits have no cash value, are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for money or other benefits.
Prices
We may change membership prices from time to time.
Where we increase the price of an existing membership, we will provide at least 30 days’ written notice before the new price takes effect.
You may cancel your membership before the new price applies.
Timetable, Content & Membership Benefits
We may make changes to the timetable, instructors, class formats, venues, events, online sessions, on-demand content and other benefits included within a membership.
We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where reasonably possible.
Occasional class or event cancellations may occur due to instructor illness, venue availability, operational requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may also introduce, remove or change membership benefits from time to time.
Health & Safety
The health and safety terms applicable to PUMP & PRAISE classes and events also apply to your membership.
You should seek appropriate medical advice before participating to check your ability to safely exercise.
You are responsible for informing us or the relevant instructor of anything that may affect your ability to participate safely.
If you have any concerns about your ability to exercise safely, you should seek appropriate medical advice before participating.
If you are pregnant, postnatal, recovering from an injury or have a medical condition or other health concern that may affect your ability to exercise safely, you should seek appropriate medical advice before participating.
You must tell us promptly if your health or circumstances change in a way that may affect your ability to participate safely. This responsibility continues for as long as you remain a member.
You accept that physical activity and exercise involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Online Content
Online and on-demand content included within your membership is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use while your membership is active.
You must not record, reproduce, copy, share, distribute, resell, publish, publicly display or otherwise make our membership content available to anyone else.
Unauthorised sharing or use of membership content may result in your membership being suspended or cancelled without refund.
Your access to membership content ends when your membership ends, unless we expressly state otherwise.
Conduct
We want PUMP & PRAISE to remain a safe, welcoming and positive community.
We may suspend or cancel a membership without refund where a member behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, inappropriate or seriously disruptive to other participants, instructors, staff, venue partners or the wider PUMP & PRAISE community.
Your Data
We process information including your contact details, payment records, attendance, emergency contact information and, where provided or required for safety, relevant health information to administer your membership, provide our services, keep participants safe and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Please see our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use and protect your information.
For questions relating to your membership or your data, please contact team@pumpandpraise.com.
7. EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
PUMP & PRAISE reserves the right to amend or cancel a class, event or experience where reasonably necessary, including due to venue issues, safety concerns, instructor availability, operational circumstances or events outside our reasonable control.
We will communicate material changes or cancellations as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where PUMP & PRAISE cancels an event, any applicable refund or alternative arrangement will be communicated to affected customers.
Minor changes to schedules, instructors, activities, line-ups or event formats do not automatically entitle customers to a refund.
