Refund policy
PUMP & PRAISE — Refund, Booking & Purchase Policy
This policy covers all purchases made through the PUMP & PRAISE Shopify store, including events, classes, memberships/subscriptions, on-demand digital content, merchandise, delivery and pre-orders. It should be read alongside our full [Terms of Service] and [Privacy Policy].
By placing an order or completing checkout on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy in full. If you do not agree, please do not complete your purchase.
1. General
1.1 PUMP & PRAISE is a faith-based fitness and wellbeing movement. Participation in any class, event, or programme carries inherent physical risk, as set out in our Terms of Service. By booking or purchasing, you confirm you are fit to participate or have sought appropriate medical advice.
1.2 Unless stated otherwise, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits except where expressly set out in this policy or where required by law.
1.3 This policy applies equally to purchases made by yourself and to purchases you make on behalf of a child or another person; you are responsible for ensuring they (or their parent/guardian) are aware of and accept these terms.
2. Events & Ticketing
2.1 All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges under any circumstances, including but not limited to illness, travel disruption, personal emergencies, or a change of mind.
2.2 Age policy: attendees must be 7 years or older. Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult aged 18 or over. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for supervision and consent to emergency first aid being administered if required. Certain events are women-only or otherwise restricted; eligibility requirements will be stated clearly at the point of booking, and tickets purchased in breach of these requirements may be refused entry without refund.
2.3 Standard events: if we make a material change to the date, time, or venue of a standard (non-secret-location) event, you will be notified and may request a refund within 48 hours of that notification. Outside of this window, no refund will be issued.
2.4 Secret location events: venue, date, time, and lineup are provisional and may change at our discretion. Secret location tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances, including a change to any of the above.
2.5 Right of admission: we reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the venue, any attendee whose conduct we reasonably consider disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of our policies, without refund or compensation.
2.6 Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless we expressly authorise a transfer in writing. Resale of tickets above face value, or resale through unauthorised third-party platforms, is prohibited and may result in the ticket being cancelled without refund.
2.7 Force majeure: if an event is cancelled or altered due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to venue unavailability, severe weather, government restriction, strikes, or emergency), we will offer either a rescheduled date or a credit towards a future event where reasonably possible. This does not affect section 2.4.
2.8 By attending, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed for promotional purposes, as set out in our Terms of Service.
3. Classes (Drop-In, Pay-As-You-Go & Recurring)
3.1 Class bookings are non-refundable once booked, except where a class is cancelled or materially changed by us.
3.2 Cancellations by you: you may cancel or move a booked class up to [24 hours] before the scheduled start time without charge. Cancellations made after this window, or failure to attend ("no-show"), may be charged in full and will not be refunded or credited.
3.3 Class credits and packages are valid for the period stated at purchase and do not roll over or extend unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Unused credits are non-refundable on expiry.
3.4 We reserve the right to substitute the instructor, or to change the time, location, or format of a class (including moving a class online) where reasonably necessary, without this entitling you to a refund, provided the substitute class is broadly equivalent.
3.5 Participation is subject to the health and safety terms in our Terms of Service, including your responsibility to disclose any condition that may affect your ability to participate safely.
4. Memberships & Subscriptions
4.1 Memberships and subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency selected (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
4.2 You may cancel at any time via your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — we do not offer partial-period or pro-rata refunds for time remaining, unused classes, or unused benefits.
4.3 Subscriptions and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, save where we expressly agree otherwise in writing (for example, a documented transfer to another named individual at our discretion).
4.4 If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the payment automatically and/or suspend access to membership benefits until payment is successfully taken. Continued failure to pay may result in cancellation of the membership without notice.
4.5 Where we offer a freeze or pause facility, this will be subject to any separate terms communicated at the time and is not available retrospectively.
5. On-Demand & Digital Content (Videos, PDFs, Meal Plans, Fitness Programmes)
5.1 Digital content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not record, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly display, or share access credentials or content (in whole or part) with any third party.
5.2 All digital content sales are final. Once a digital product has been accessed, downloaded, or streamed, no refund will be given except where the content is materially faulty or fails to be delivered.
5.3 We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to digital content, without refund, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
6. Merchandise
6.1 All merchandise sales are final save as set out below.
6.2 Damaged on arrival: please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Confirmed damaged items must be returned within 3 working days of that notification for an exchange or refund (excluding original shipping costs).
6.3 Faulty or defective goods: please notify us within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number. Confirmed faults will be exchanged or refunded; return shipping costs are payable by you unless the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect.
6.4 This policy does not cover accidental damage, general wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery.
6.5 Merchandise sizing, colour, and appearance may vary slightly from images shown online; this is not treated as a fault.
7. Delivery & Shipping
7.1 We currently ship to the United Kingdom only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7.2 Standard delivery is estimated at 3–5 working days; express delivery options (where available) are as stated at checkout. These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery times.
7.3 You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by you.
7.4 We do not accept liability for parcels lost or delayed by the courier once dispatched, beyond what the courier's own terms provide, though we will assist you in raising a claim where reasonably possible.
7.5 Where an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or a missed collection, a reshipping fee may apply (currently £9.99 for UK orders) and will be confirmed with you before resending.
7.6 Damaged deliveries must be reported within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence to be considered for replacement.
8. Pre-Orders
8.1 Pre-order items are non-refundable once ordered, as the item is being specifically secured or produced for you.
8.2 Delivery dates given for pre-order items are provisional and may change; we will keep you updated on any material delay.
8.3 If a pre-ordered item becomes permanently unavailable, we will offer you a suitable substitute or store credit at our discretion; a cash refund will only be provided where no reasonable alternative can be offered.
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
9.1 If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at team@pumpandpraise.com before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider, so that we can investigate and resolve the issue directly.
9.2 Raising a chargeback for a purchase that is valid under this policy (including a final-sale ticket, membership payment, or digital product you have accessed) will be treated as a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to contest any unauthorised chargeback, recover any associated fees or losses, and suspend or terminate your account and any future bookings while the matter is resolved.
10. Right to Amend
10.1 We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. The version in force at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in this policy excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, our liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that specific purchase.
12. Governing Law
12.1 This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
